2. Overview
This website is purely informational. We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics or advertising services, and we do not embed any third-party content (such as videos, social media plugins or external fonts). There are no forms and no user accounts. Because no cookies or consent-based services are used, no cookie banner is required.
3. Hosting via Cloudflare Pages
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data so that the pages can be delivered and protected against attacks. This includes in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, and browser and operating system information (server log files).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and fast provision of the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare on the basis of Cloudflare’s contractual terms.
Data may be transferred to the USA in this context. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: Cloudflare privacy policy. The retention period of log data is determined by Cloudflare.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
5. Fonts
The fonts used (Michroma, Exo 2) are stored locally on our server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider is made when you visit this website.
6. Storing your language choice (localStorage)
If you choose a language using the “DE | EN” switcher, we store this choice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, entry “tn-lang” with the value “de” or “en”). This prevents you from being redirected automatically on later visits. The entry stays on your device only, is not transmitted to us and contains no personal data. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, formerly TTDSG). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.
For automatic language detection on your first visit, your browser’s language setting is evaluated locally in your browser only; no data is sent to us.
7. Links to Instagram and TikTok
This website contains simple links to our profiles on Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and TikTok (TikTok Technology Limited). These are not embedded plugins: simply visiting our website does not transmit any data to these providers. Only when you click a link are you taken to the respective provider’s site, which then processes data under its own responsibility. For details, see the privacy policies of Instagram and TikTok.
8. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
